Pokémon and Sentosa needed a digital layer that could turn a physical island visit into a guided adventure. Eevee Adventure Mission sent players across Sentosa to discover Eevee and its evolutions, complete location-linked challenges, and qualify for limited rewards through one continuous mobile journey.

I helped build the mobile-first mission experience around an in-browser QR scanner with manual-code fallback and camera-permission recovery. Scanning codes placed around Sentosa unlocked animated Pokémon encounters, detailed character profiles, evolution stories, abilities, strengths, and mission-specific quizzes, turning each physical stop into both a collectible moment and a learning challenge.

The experience tracked progress across 12 missions and guided players through onboarding, encounter animations, correct and incorrect quiz states, mission completion, daily notices, surveys, and return visits. GSAP, Lottie, character-specific visual themes, and layered sound effects recreated the feel of a Pokémon game while Quasar and Vuex managed the multi-step campaign state.

The final O2O journey connected gameplay to island commerce. After completing every mission, players uploaded a receipt for a qualifying S$15 Sentosa purchase, followed its verification status, selected an unrevealed Poké Ball reward, and accepted a limited-stock prize. The same application handled prize availability, reselection, expiry, and a deliberate five-second onsite redemption flow for plushies, hotel stays, Sentosa Fun Pass rewards, and other campaign prizes.

Eevee Adventure Mission connected destination discovery, Pokémon storytelling, merchant spending, and physical fulfilment in one campaign. Instead of treating the microsite as a simple event guide, it made digital progress depend on real exploration and carried visitors from their first QR encounter through verified participation to onsite reward collection.
